PROJECT GOAL
STRENGTHENING AND MOBILISATION OF MAHILA MANDAL (WOMEN’S ORGANIZATION) FOR PEOPLE’S INITIATIVES AND GOOD GOVERNANCE THROUGH GRAM SABHA.
OBJECTIVES
- To strengthen and facilitate 15 Gram Sabha, its 45 Standing Committees and Project Level Committee for smooth function with equal participation of female within three year;
- To facilitate 300 families for production of organic manure and its use in 40% of their land;
- To increase the 50% member’s minimum income of Rs. 500/- per month of 60 Mahila Mandals (MMs) through livelihood option within the project period;
- To facilitate members of MMs to register the Saptrishi self supporting cooperative society and increase their membership to 300.
- To promote the health awareness, herbal usages and its propagation;
- To capacitate the local community about the NREGA to generate minimum 100 days employment to each family and develop the selves of projects for their better livelihood and developmental initiatives and
- To engage in the institutional reform process and capacity building of staff for revisit VMG, preparing second line leadership and effective MIS for result based management of programmes.
